Why I want to be a tutor: Tutoring began as a means of strengthening my core understanding of challenging subject matter. I adhere to the learning process of "learn it, watch it, do it teach it". My friends and peers will say that I am constantly trying to teach them new things, weather it be relevant to them or not. I find joy in teaching others and find satisfaction when others succeed. Hobbies

About me: I am a former firefighter / EMT with over 5 years of experience in emergency situations. After many inspiring calls, I have decided to pursue my potential as a physician. I begin medical school in about a year but have yet to determine which school I will attend. I have accepted a full ride scholarship to medical school from the United States Air Force in exchange for my service once I graduate. I am a very tactile and visual person as a result of my interest, job experience, and experience rock climbing. I believe my success in the sciences can be attributed to this visual and spatial understanding of the physical world. It is my goal to guide my students through a similar visual approach to their course work.
